When you create a question, below the ‘Question Text’ there is the ‘Label’ field. For table questions, you can add a label per sub-question and per answer. Here you can enter an attribute of the question that will be shown in the result files. For example, ‘Q1’ for question 1.
Labels are also required for the digital accessibility of the survey. The labels are read out by pre-reading software.
Create label in single- or multi-response or tabular questions
- Enter an attribute for the question under the question number under ‘Label’.
- Go to the answer options of the single-response question and click on ‘more options’ .
- Under ‘Label’, enter an attribute for the answer option.
- Click on ‘Continue’.
Export labels
You can add text or a label to answers when exporting in CSV. You do this by going to Research > Settings in the main menu. From the ‘Export answers in CSV as:’ dropdown, select ‘answer label’. More information about settings can be found here.
