What exactly does Pirai AI do?
Pirai AI is a survey converter that allows you to easily convert questionnaires to a Crowdtech Survey format. This can be done, for example, from a Word document, PDF, Excel file or an export file from another survey tool.
You can then upload the generated Crowdtech Survey file into Crowdtech Survey. This saves you a lot of time compared to manually programming questionnaires.

Step 2 — AI converts the survey into the desired format
Pirai AI's survey converter processes the uploaded document and converts it to the desired format.
After processing, you will have the opportunity to view a preview and make any adjustments before the final file is created. This includes changing:
- Question texts
- Answer texts
- Question order
- Question types
The system also notifies you when possible errors are discovered in the questionnaire, so that you can check and correct them.
Step 3 — Upload your survey and check it
You can then upload the generated file to Crowdtech Survey via Import Survey.
After importing, always check whether all questions, answer options and question types have been copied correctly. Then include the correct conditions, routing and restrictions in the questionnaire.
Always test the questionnaire completely before sending it out to respondents.
Important point of attention
Currently, Pirai AI's survey converter mainly converts questions and answers into the desired format. Matters such as conditions, routing and adjusted restrictions per question are not yet automatically included.
Therefore, always process these parts manually after uploading in Crowdtech Survey and test the questionnaire carefully before it goes live.

- No respondent or research data is processed during the intended use; Pirai AI processes only the questionnaire content necessary for conversion to the required format.
- User input is used solely for the user's intended purpose—converting a questionnaire into the required format. The submitted content is not used for other purposes, such as training AI models.

Pirai AI states that privacy and security are integral to the platform's design. According to Pirai AI, documents are processed using security measures such as encrypted transfer via TLS, isolated processing, secure downloads, and the automatic deletion of processed document content. Pirai AI adheres to a "zero-retention" policy: document content is deleted immediately after processing, and temporary files are erased within a maximum of 15 minutes.
Furthermore, Pirai AI states that customer data is not used to train AI models.
