The external redirect can be used to direct respondents somewhere else before the end of all survey questions.

Difference complete, dropout or completed
Add an external redirect
- Click ‘Questions’ and ‘Enter’ in the menu
- Choose the ‘External redirect’ and click ‘Select’.
- Enter a ‘Name’ of the external redirect.
- Enter the ‘URL’ of the external redirect. Check that the URL is correct. For example, there should be no spaces in front of it.
- Under ‘Mark respondent/question as’ choose whether you want to mark the respondent as quitter, complete or completed.
- Click on ‘Save’.
Difference complete, dropout or completed
Mark participant as dropout: the participant is not seen as complete.
Mark participant as complete: the participant has completed all questions that were compulsory for him.
Mark participant as filled in: the participant will be sent to the external redirect, marking the question as completed. Then, when the participant returns to the questionnaire, they move on to the next question.
