With Direct Feedback, you can integrate the first survey question into an email or on a website. After clicking the answer, the respondent is immediately taken to the second question.
Setting up Direct Feedback
-
Check whether the survey access settings are correct. If access is set to "No login required", open Direct Feedback links are created. If access is set to "Email addresses from list", personal Direct Feedback links are generated.
-
Make sure the first survey question is a single-response question. Direct Feedback is not possible for other question types.
-
Go to the "Communication" menu and click "Direct Feedback".
-
Click "Add new direct feedback".
-
Enter a name and optionally add an image per answer from the Media Manager to make the question visually appealing.
-
Click "Save".
-
Click "Copy code". You can then use this code in an email or on a website.
Adding Direct Feedback to an email
-
Go to the "Communication" menu. Under "Email management", click "Create new email". Then click "Advanced".
-
Click the source code function:
and paste the copied Direct Feedback code.
-
Under "Email type", select "Free mail" and under "Additional sending options", choose who should receive the email.
-
You can also use Direct Feedback in an invitation or reminder. Select the desired option under "Email type". For invitations and reminders, it is mandatory to include the survey link in the email by adding "##URL##". If you do not want to show the link, you can make this text white.
-
-
Click "Save" and complete the remaining steps for sending the email.
When the survey is copied, Direct Feedback must be created again.
