Questionnaires can now be displayed directly within mobile apps. This no longer requires respondents to be redirected to an external browser; the questionnaire is displayed directly in the app via a WebView.
How does it work?
To display a questionnaire within an app, the app must be configured to open questionnaire links in a WebView. This can usually be set by the app developer.
Important
- This functionality only applies to mobile apps.
- WebView is not used for websites. Questionnaires can be offered to respondents in different ways, for example:
- Via an open link
- Via a website overlay
- Via Direct Feedback
Testing
Want to see how this works? Install SNC Soft's WebView Test app from the Google Play Store.
- Open the app.
- Choose the recommended settings ("Recommended settings").
- Paste a questionnaire link into the WebView tab.
The questionnaire then opens directly within the app, allowing you to test or demonstrate the user experience to customers.
