In the menu, under 'Settings' and 'Settings' you can check the option 'Anonymous research'. This option anonymizes the login information of the respondent. In the dataset 'ANONIEM' will appear in this place.
Also in 'Anonymity' you can anonymize data enrichments by excluding them from the result files. Once variables and data enrichment are anonymized, they can still be filtered in the results environment.
This functionality works retroactively, so you can anonymize an ongoing study at any time. Once ticked variables cannot be turned off after at least one respondent has participated in the survey.
Anonymizing Email Addresses
If you have imported the respondents’ email addresses as data enrichment, a variable will appear under 'Hide data enrichment variables', for example 'Email address'. If you want to anonymize the email addresses, check both 'Anonymous survey' and 'Email address'. By checking 'Anonymous survey', you anonymize the 'LOGIN' results column, and by checking 'Email address', you anonymize this data enrichment column in the results file.
