You can create the route for the respondents with conditions. You can do this condition both on the question and on the answer. In addition, you can set conditions based on a previously asked question, data enrichment, a variable, a group or create date. We give several examples of a condition below to a previously asked question.
Conditions on the question
Click in the question to the right at "Conditions" . The next screen shows
Here you can set the conditions for the entire question, or based on data enrichment, a variable, a group or a date.
Example of a condition
You can apply logic in the questionnaire in several ways, namely:
- Put conditions on the question or answer.
- Enter a jump in the answer type. You do this through the answer options behind enter the question number
to which the respondent should be referred. Note: This answer option is not available for all questions.

Examples of conditions
In all examples we assume the following question:
Which European cities have you been to?
- Amsterdam
- Berlin
- Brussels
- Paris
Based on this question you can create the following examples:
- Creating a Single Condition
- Only respondents who visited Amsterdam can continue in the questionnaire
- Combination of conditions based on OR
- Only respondents who visited Amsterdam or Brussels can continue in the questionnaire
- Combination of conditions based on AND
- Only respondents who visited Amsterdam and Brussels can continue in the questionnaire (for multi-response questions)
- Combination of conditions based on OR and AND
- Only respondents who visited Amsterdam or Brussels and not Berlin can continue in the questionnaire (for multi-response questions)
