Display of Conditions

The tree structure used when creating conditions is also shown here per question. These are displayed below the question text and above the answers.

For instance: Question 1:

Which European cities have you been to?

CONDITION: Show Question 1 only if participant is from Europe. You have already entered the nationalities of the respondents in the data enrichment.

When conditions are set to answers, this is also displayed on the overview of the questionnaire below the answer to which the condition applies.

For instance: Question 1:

Which European cities have you been to?

• • Amsterdam
    • CONDITION: Only show answer 'Amsterdam' if the participant is NOT from the Netherlands.
  • Brussels
    • CONDITION: Only show answer 'Brussels' if the participant is NOT from Belgium.
  • Berlin

  • Parijs

Display of conditions: Sub questions

For question types that use sub questions (for example table questions), the conditions that are created in the sub questions are listed below the sub question.

For instance: Question 2:

Which European cities have you been to?

• ANSWER OPTIONS: I like this city - Neutral - I don't like this city - No opinion
• Amsterdam
• CONDITION: only show sub-question "Amsterdam" when question 1 is answered with 'Amsterdam'
• Brussels
• CONDITION: Only show sub-question "Brussels" when question 1 is answered with "Brussels"
• Berlin
• CONDITION: Show sub-question 'Berlin' only when question 1 is answered with 'Berlin'

It may also be that there are conditions on the answers as well as on the sub-questions. At the top, the answer conditions are always listed first (below the answers in the header of the table. Subsequently, a sub-question condition appears for each sub-question below. This looks like this:

Question 2: Which European cities have you been to?

• ANSWER OPTIONS: 1. I love this city - 2. Neutral - 3. I don't like this city - 4. No opinion
• CONDITION: Condition on answer 1: show only for date 01-01-2021
• Amsterdam
• CONDITION: only show sub-question "Amsterdam" when question 1 is answered with "Amsterdam"
• Brussels
• CONDITION: Only show sub-question "Brussels" when question 1 is answered with "Brussels"
