With WhatsApp invites you can invite respondents via a WhatsApp message. This is a new way of inviting and is fast and user-friendly for a respondent. A link to the research made with Survey is included in the WhatsApp message. The survey will automatically open in the browser if the respondent clicks on the link. What do I need to get started?
- Your own phone number without an active WhatsApp account. If you do not have your own telephone number, Crowdtech can help you with this;
- A personal Facebook account;
- A Facebook Business Account. This can also be created later in the registration process.
How soon can I get started?
To get started, you must agree to WhatsApp's privacy policy. Once this agreement has been reached, Crowdtech will arrange an account for you within one working day. If you want to compose an invitation message yourself, it must be approved by Meta (Facebook). We have standardized and approved messages ready, to save you some time.
What about inviting WhatsApp in terms of data protection/GDPR compliance?
In order to use WhatsApp invites you must agree to WhatsApp's privacy policy. You can unsubscribe at any time and also delete the data. The messages via WhatsApp are end-to-end encrypted. WhatsApp cannot read these messages. That is why this solution is often safer than email or other messaging services. The hosting servers are in certified data centers. The data of the messages is no longer stored after the messages have been received.
Can I send a reminder via WhatsApp invites?
To prevent that participants receive an invitation multiple times for the same survey, it is not possible to send another WhatsApp message to the same 06 number. If participants do not want to receive the message, the chance exists that they will block the company phone number of your WhatsApp account. If this happens multiple times, the entire account can be blocked. to do this To prevent this from happening, it is not possible to send reminders or other messages via WhatsApp. It is however possible to send the initial invite via WhatsApp and a reminder via e-mail.
What are the costs for WhatsApp invites?
The license costs are € 440 (excl. VAT) per year and a one-off set-up of € 660 (excl. VAT). You pay € 0.23 (excl. VAT) per WhatsApp message. This amount includes all messages from/to a respondent within a 24-hour period. Any messages after these 24 hours will be charged again.
