Do you want to set quotas for the research? In the menu go to "Participants" and "Quotas". For example: I want to conduct a survey among a total of 100 respondents. A maximum of 50 of these respondents may be men.
Set quota
- Choose a name for the quota.
- Choose a maximum number of respondents that fall under this quota. Select the question on which you want to set quotas. You can set quotas on a Single Response Question, a Table Question (single response), an Image Question (single response) or a Drag & Drop Question.
- Select the question on which you want to set the quota.
- Select which question the respondent is referred to when the quota is full is.
- Select the answer you want to set the quota for.
- Click "Save".
When the maximum number of completes has been reached, the question can no longer be answered and the respondent is directed to another question or to the end of the survey. Only completes are counted in the quota.
Set quota across multiple questions
When setting a quota you can spread the total number of completes over multiple answers. Set a separate quota for each answer.
Quota based on combination of different answers
Do you want to combine a quota of answers from two different questions? For instance: only men over 40 years old. Then ask a so-called dummy question in the questionnaire to combine these conditions. You do this as follows:
- Create a single response question in the survey.
- In the question text, put the name of the combination (for example men above 40).
- Fill in the answer option and put the conditions on the questions in which respondents indicate their gender and age.
- Then tick at Question options "Fill in automatically" and then "Hide" so that the question is not visible to the respondent and becomes automatic stuffed.
- Click "Save".
- In the menu, go to "Participants" and "Quota". Select the dummy question for it quota.
- Click "Save".
