You can save the expert layout view in PowerPoint (ODP extension), as a print version, and share it as a web link. Additionally, you can open the view in Word.
Opening the expert layout in Word
- Go to 'Results' in the survey and click 'Print' in the top right corner. Save the file as a PDF.
- Navigate to File Explorer on your desktop. Find the file you just saved and right-click on it.
- Click on 'Open with' and select 'Word'. If Word isn’t listed, click on 'Choose another app' and then select 'Word'.
- The results page will now open in Word. Make any necessary changes and save the Word file.
Sharing the expert layout via the web link
To make the results as accessible as possible, Crowdtech offers a web link. With this link, you can share the expert layout view via a URL, including with people who do not have access to Crowdtech. In the expert layout, you can hide questions that you do not want to share. Any dummy questions must be manually hidden before you share the link.
Open-ended questions and open answer options are hidden by default in the web link view. You can see this on the results page: open questions are shown in grey. If you want to include open questions and answers in the web link view, click the eye icon next to the question.
The display language in the web link is based on the survey language you set at the time of creation. The multilingual function is not available for the web link.
In the web link version of the results page, the research title is shown directly after the text “Results”. If you would prefer not to show this title, you can disable it via the “Hide research name” checkbox after clicking “Share”.
- Optional: hide results you do not want to share. To do this, click the
-icon for each question.
- Click “Share”. A pop-up window will appear where you can set the date and time at which the link expires. After this time, the link will no longer work and access to the results will be removed.
The results view is continuously updated. All new results and any changes you make in the expert layout, such as changing colours, adjusting charts, or applying filters, are instantly visible in the web link view. The results data is also continuously updated. Read more information on how to change the view of the expert layout.
