Import data enrichment
Follow these steps to import data enrichment.
What is data enrichment?
Data enrichment is data that you have collected outside the research. Think to an email address list of colleagues you want to invite or a list of respondents' first and last names. Or, for example, data that you want to use for the analyzes. The following advanced options can be used if this is taken into account in the import file:
- Double login: this requires at least one extra column. A second login, like a code, can increase the security of the investigation and in addition a participant can participate several times in a (continuous) survey.
- Sending date: to be used for automatic mailing.
After you have added the file, you can always delete the file via the "delete" icon next to the file name.
How do I use data enrichment in the research itself?
After importing the data enrichment, this icon appears at the right edge of the menu: .
When you click on , the available enrichment variables open.
Next to the available data enrichment, you can find the created variables here. Both are indicated with different symbols. The variables can be identified by [{variable}] and the enrichment by [[enrichment]].
You can include the enrichment variables [[Name]] and [[E-mail address]] in the text of the research. For example, you can write to the respondent personally in an e-mail or in the questionnaire by placing [[Name]] in the text. You cannot use dataenrichment in the "Alternative text for closed survey" in the menu "Survey" - "Survey"
